When your body is overheated, from moving around, exercise, feeling emotional, or as a result of hormones, then nerves activate sweat glands. The major sweat glands found in the body called Eccrine Sweat Glands are predominately found on the feet, palms, face, and armpits. When these nerves overreact, it causes a medical condition called hyperhidrosis.
