Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that can cause blushing and bumps on the skin a little bit like acne. The most noticeable side effect is redness to the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. After a while, broken blood vessels might show through the skin which can swell and thicken. Half of Rosacea sufferers can experience eye problems like redness, pain and swelling. Symptoms can come and go but if left untreated redness and swelling can get worse and may become permanent.
Other symptoms include: stinging or burning of the skin, rough or dry patches of skin, large pores and broken vessels/bumps on the eyelids.
